Privacy policy

VibeYoung helps people share apps they built and get feedback. We only collect what we need to run the service, and we never sell personal data. This policy follows the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 and, for members in Europe, the GDPR.

Who we are

VibeYoung is run by Wandimi Enterprise Technologies, a business registered in Kenya (registration number BN-YZC96REP), TRM Mall, Kamiti Road, Roysambu, Nairobi, P.O. Box 15801-00100, GPO Nairobi, Kenya. We are the data controller for your personal data.

What we collect

  • Account details: your email, name, username and, if you sign in with Google or GitHub, your profile picture.
  • Your date of birth, to apply our age rule. It is never shown publicly.
  • What you post: apps, versions, feedback, replies and screenshots.
  • Security data: the devices you're signed in on and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address.
  • With your permission only: analytics about how the site is used, and advertising cookies on the Free plan.

Who can use VibeYoung

VibeYoung is for people aged 18 and over, or 13 to 17 with a parent or guardian's permission. We don't keep accounts for children under 13. Members under 18 don't see personalised ads and are hidden from the public leaderboard.

How we use it

  • To run your account, show your apps and feedback, and award credits.
  • To send the emails you need: sign-in codes, feedback alerts and receipts.
  • To keep the community safe: link checks, reports and preventing abuse.

Your choices and rights

  • Change your profile, notifications and leaderboard visibility in Settings.
  • Choose which cookies you allow at any time.
  • Close your account in Settings. We erase your personal data 30 days later.
  • Ask for a copy of your data or to correct it: email support@vibeyoung.dev.

Service providers

We use trusted providers for hosting, email, payments and, with consent, analytics and ads. They may process data outside Kenya under contracts that protect it.
